We need DNS access or help from the domain registrar. The usual flow is to unlock changes, confirm ownership and point A/CNAME records to the website.
Which DNS records are needed for web, email and security?
The website usually uses an A or CNAME record. Email uses MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC. We send exact records when the site or mailbox is ready to connect.
How do I connect a mailbox in Outlook or iPhone Mail?
Use IMAP for incoming mail and SMTP for outgoing mail. The server is mail.gonora.is, the username is the full email address, IMAP uses port 993 with SSL/TLS and SMTP uses port 587 with STARTTLS.
Will I receive instructions for my website?
Yes. Every website includes tailored instructions showing exactly how to sign in and update the text, images, products, opening hours and settings used on your site. You receive guidance made for your solution, not a generic document.
What is needed for ecommerce and payments?
We review products, shipping, terms and payment methods. Payment gateway integrations are set up once the core details and approvals are ready.
Does it cost extra to request small changes?
No, not when they fit within the monthly work time included in the package. Extra work beyond the agreement costs 19,900 kr./hour + VAT.
